There's Always a Market
Ballinas Canal Road Market is the 3rd Sunday of each month .The famous Bangalow market is a short drive on the 4th Sunday of every month and the Byron Farmers Market is every Thursday from 7am. Also a number of other markets with great local produce from; fresh farm eggs to organic avocado's the variety is huge! Plus that special gift or craft to take home. Entry is free!

ICON Australia All Girls Surf Showdown
Queen’s Birthday Weekend – annual event
The ICON Australia All Girls Surf Showdown is the largest women’s surfboard riding competition in Australia possibly the world, hosted and organised by the All Girls Surfriders Club Inc. of Lennox Head.
North Coast Street Machine Car Show
January – annual event
Vintage car enthusiasts will gather at Ballina for the annual North Coast Street Machine's Show and Shine event. More than 200 vehicles from muscle cars to classic Holden’s and Cadillacs to Hot Rods and Motor Bikes are expected to be on display.
Boxing Day Races – Ballina
26 December – annual event
Continue to join in the Christmas festivities by heading to the Boxing Day Races at Ballina. Catch all the action of horse racing and non-stop entertainment at the Ballina Racecourse.
Ballina Cup Races – Ballina Jockey Club

This annual event is celebrated as a one of the communities calendar highlights of the year – not to be missed!
Alstonville Agricultural Show
Oct/Nov – annual event
There's something about the atmosphere of a show; prized animals are paraded, smells of fairy floss and hot dogs, children yelling as they enjoy a ride in a sideshow alley. Capture all the action at the Alstonville Show - one of the oldest shows on the North Coast circuit.
Southern Cross Arts and Craft Festival
November – annual event
More than 600 entries of unique arts, and a huge range of craft will be on display at the annual Southern Cross Arts and Craft Festival.
