Our Apartments
Grandview Apartments offer self-catering apartments. Basic necessities are supplied to get you settled, e.g., toilet paper, tea, coffee, soap, dishwashing powder, etc. however anything further is supplied by the guest. If you require an extra towel, dishwashing tab or laundry liquid satchel to get you through another day or two before your departure, please pop down to Reception during office hours.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping services can be specifically requested and charges for this service will apply. We provide a fresh linen change for guests staying longer than 7 nights at no extra charge. This service is automatically scheduled and is usually advised upon check in, or a text will be sent to you the day before the service is scheduled. Please contact Reception for additional services.
Reception Hours
Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) – 8:30am – 4:30pm
Saturday and Sunday – closed.
For weekend and after hour emergencies, please call (02) 6686 6999. The phone will be diverted to the On-Site After-Hours Manager. There is always someone around, so please let us know if you need anything.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is from 2:00pm onwards. Check out time is at 10:00am.
Should you require a later check out time, please check with Reception. Late check-outs will be subject to availability and charges may apply.
Keys
Keys to your apartment are to be returned to the office on departure. Should Reception be closed, please drop keys into the key safe located to the left of Fire Control Panel at Reception office – there is a slot in the top. Loss of keys will attract a $120 fee.
Air Conditioning
Air conditioning is located in the lounge room of each apartment. The control for this can be located on one of the walls in the lounge room or hallway. Air conditioning is pre-set to either cooling or heating depending on the time of the year. This cannot be changed, however you can change the temperature.
Smoking
All apartments at Grandview are designated Non-Smoking. If cigarette smoke is detected in the apartment, a $100 sanitising fee applies.
Maintenance
For all room maintenance, such as broken or malfunctioning items in the apartment, please notify Reception.
Lifts
Lift access is available from the basement car park and the ground floor to each accommodation level, you will need to use the black security tag to access your room level. In the event of a fire, please use the stairs.

Garbage Disposals
Every floor has a garbage chute; please place all general rubbish down the chute. For recycling, please place all paper and glass items in the yellow top recycling bins located in the carparks.
Baby Cots, Highchair, Hire Equipment
Cots, highchairs, additional linen and many other items are available for hire at Reception.
Beach Towels – $5.00 per towel per stay; $10 deposit
Roll Away Bed – $20 per night
Electrical Current / Voltage
Within Australia, electrical appliances use 240 volts AC, 50 cycles.
Functions & Parties
Functions are not permitted, unless previously approved by management. Any type of undeclared function, party or get-together is in contravention of the owner’s corporation bylaws and may lead to eviction and incur a fee.
Pets
No pets allowed.
Booking Your Next Stay
We love having our guests return for another stay. Future bookings can be made through Reception and you are offered a discount on the nightly rate.
We have free WIFI for all guests. The login details for your apartment will
be located on the carpark map you were given upon check in. Most apartments

In Case of a Fire
In the event of a fire alarm, please follow the directions located on the back of the front door of your apartment – Fire Exit and Evacuation Plan. If you require assistance in evacuating in the event of a fire, please register this with Reception on check-in.
Please exit the building via stairs, DO NOT USE LIFT.
Guest Facilities
The swimming pool and spa are located on Level G and are open for your enjoyment from 8:00am to 8:00pm – please ensure children are accompanied by an adult and supervised.
The gym (located on level G – Ocean Tower) opens from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Use your Security Fob on the panel to the right of the gym door, push door to open. Children under 12yrs of age are not permitted in the gym without supervision for safety reasons. Please keep the gym clean, put all equipment away after use and turn off lights upon exit.
Tour Desk/Reception
We have local brochures and are happy to help you find things to do and places to eat in the local area while you’re staying with us. Just pop down to Reception and ask!
BBQ
We have BBQ’s available for hire at $50 each for the duration of your stay. Contact Reception if you’d like to organise one to be brought up to your apartment.
Entrance Shower
We have a shower located down the first lot of steps at the Grandview Street entrance to wash off all sand before entering your apartment or the swimming pool. There is also a common area shower located on the ground floor of the Ocean Tower.
Luggage Storage
We are happy to store your luggage for you on the day of arrival or departure in our Reception area. Please see us at Reception to organise.
Umbrellas
We have a small number of umbrellas for complimentary use. These are located in Reception. Please return them to Reception after use – do not take them to your apartment.

Please contact Reception to arrange any photocopying, email or scanning services. Small charges may apply.
Mail
Mail can be addressed c/- The Manager, 3 – 7 Grandview Street, East Ballina, NSW 2478 and collected from Reception during office hours.
Beach Swimming
When beach swimming, please ensure that you swim between the red & yellow flags as these represent the safe patrolled area – outside of this area swimming is at your own risk. Major dangers to be aware of are rips and undercurrents. Lighthouse Beach and Shelly Beach are our local beaches and are patrolled on the weekends and peak holiday periods. Ask at Reception if you require further information on the best local spots for surfing and swimming.
